Edwina Birch
Edwina joined the A-Locate team eighteen months ago. She is our Client Liaison Manager and the co-ordinator between one of our major clients and A-Locate Global Relocations.
Her role is procedural and administrative. She works closely with the H.R. department at Citigroup and with Citigroup relocatees. Her job is to make the whole process of relocation a smoother and less stressed experience. She assists relocatees with visa processing, temporary accommodation, tax assistance, removalists etc. to make the transition from countries around the world to Australia. She also provides assistance to staff who are leaving Sydney and relocating to other destinations around the world.
Even though her role is essentially office based, she frequently receives thanks from grateful transferees for her assistance in making their often quite emotional relocation experience run more smoothly.
Prior to joining A-Locate Edwina ran her own importing business. She also worked for a number of years as Personal Assistant for an Interior Designer.
Edwina and her husband James have three sons and have lived in Switzerland, Hong Kong and the UK so they have a personal insight into the whole process of relocation.
